Future Generation Nepal

Trafficking Prevention

Recent trends show that over 50% of children rescued from exploitative institutions are often from Karnali province. Future Generation Nepal reached out to Karnali Art Center who provided Future Generation Nepal with actors that once trained by Future Generation Nepal would deliver the “Anti-Trafficking “ message through theater performances to vulnerable communities. We do this in collaboration with local municipalities and with funding support from Next Generation Nepal.

Communities are educated on the risks of child trafficking through broadcasted radio jingles on anti-trafficking messages in local dialects. In addition, our advocacy activists run community meetings and training for local leaders, influencers, decision makers and activists on the issue of child protection and creating child friendly communities.
